RIVERSIDE ROVERS BOARDING, TRAINING, RESCUE
Understanding Your Animals
Training your pet is not about tough love or who is top dog. Training should be both fun and effective. My goal through training is to help you build a relationship with your dog. You and your dog should be a team, not competitors!
ABOUT THE TRAINER
As a trainer and competitor in dog sports including agility, rally obedience, nose-work, herding, and mushing (sled dogs) I have experience in working with many different breeds of dogs and their owners. Because of my involvement in dog sports I am especially experienced dealing with high-drive working breed dogs such as the Husky, Alaskan Malamute, Border Collies and Kelpies. I take time to learn the different personalities of each dog I care for and ensure they are cared for safely. I have been the primary caregiver for over 75 rescue dogs during their rehabilitation and retraining to go to permanent homes. My experience extends from puppies, to active dogs, seniors and special needs dogs.
